Cantriex and Trustbix Join Forces on Angus Beef Export to the EU

TrustBIX and Cantriex Livestock International signed a new agreement for TrustBIX to provide chain-of-custody services that support Cantriex and their beef brand Authentic Angus in providing a declaration for source and age verification, as well as recognizing Angus and grain-fed sourced beef to key importers in the European Union

Cantriex will use chain-of-custody solutions provided through TrustBIX’s Business infoXchange (“BIX”) platform to differentiate their beef from competitors, and is the first to leverage this capability in marketing their products. Cantriex customers can be assured that the claims made about the Authentic Angus product are validated and tracked by an independent third-party. Authentic Angus is the first Canadian brand in Europe to use this TrustBIX verification.

Use of the BIX platform to validate marketable attributes such as source, age, breed, and feed-sourcing expands the BIX platform’s capabilities beyond its initial market positioning for use in validating sustainable production practices with producers.

This is a one-year agreement with an automatic renewal provision.
