Finest Sausage & Meats Announce Passing of Founders – Guenter and Ute Lotzmann
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Guenter Lotzmann (86) on May 2, 2024, and Ute Lotzmann (78) on May 4, 2024, while on vacation visiting family in Germany
Guenter and Ute were married for 57 wonderful years and were devoted to each other in every way. They will be deeply missed by their children: Marika (Svem) and Tania (Shannon) and their grandchildren Lukas, Maya, Cole, Fynn and Nyla.
In 1975 Guenter and Ute opened a German inspired meat processing facility where they made countless connections and friendships within them community.“In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in the memory of Guenter and Ute Lotzmann are asked to consider Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton”Finest Sausage & Meat Ltd. today is still owned and operated by their family and have been valued members of Meat & Poultry Ontario for 23 years.
Guenter and Ute’s family will celebrate and honour their lives on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., at the Concordia Club in the Schenke/ Restaurant at 429 Ottawa Street S in Kitchener. Light refreshments will be served.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in the memory of Guenter and Ute Lotzmann are asked to consider Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Alternatively, please consider cheering on Germany in the UEFA European championship this year for Guenter or planting a flower in your garden this summer for Ute.
