Beef Farmers of Ontario (BFO) and the Ontario Cattle Feeders Association (OCFA) are teaming up to present the first ever feedlot management school in Canada

On the heels of what has proven to be a trying year for the industry, and in particular for feedlots, BFO and OCFA just may have the answer to rejuvenate what has been a tough year for the industry with feed and fertilizer shortages, and droughts and floods, all on the tail-end of a three-year-long pandemic.

“The sessions will be focused on feedlot health, cattle comfort, use of technology, and financial risk management

The 2-day event will kick off June 29th and 30th, with four progressive farm tours and what promises to be engaging sessions focused on feedlot health, cattle comfort, use of technology, and financial risk management. Biosecurity will be followed during the scheduled farm visits.

The tour schedule is planned as follows:

The inaugural event is now open for registration with a deadline set for June 20th.
