CSF Welcomes Ontario Lamb Producers Caucus as its Newest Member
The Canadian Sheep Federation is pleased to announce approval of its newest member, the Ontario Lamb Producers Caucus
In a meeting held Thursday, December 19th, the CSF Board of Directors approved a request for membership from the Ontario Lamb Producers Caucus. The Ontario Lamb Producer Caucus (OLPC) is a network of Ontario sheep farmers involved in producing and marketing breeding stock, market lambs, wool, sheep’s milk and associated products, whose members believe their interests are best served when working collectively and collaboratively and with sheep farmers in all other provinces and territories.
“We are really pleased that Ontario producers recognize the value of working together and the importance national unity plays in garnering opportunities that benefit the entire industry”
Interim Chair of OLPC’s Governing Council, Fred Baker, explains “OLPC membership in the CSF will provide an Ontario producer perspective to this valuable national organization and will provide a conduit for communication between the CSF and OLPC members”.
“We are really pleased that Ontario producers recognize the value of working together and the importance national unity plays in garnering opportunities that benefit the entire industry. We truly are better, together” says CSF Chairman Allan Ribbink.
